Roy has been volunteer coaching both flag football and basketball for over 10 years. He believes that every child should have the opportunity to succeed and it is his responsibility to put them in situations they can.
It is through his experience of coaching and being a father that has inspired him to start Class Athlete Inc., and try to make a positive difference in children's lives.
Roy is an avid sports fan who also plays and coaches in several adult sports leagues. He enjoys spending time with his seven year old daughter, who is his inspiration and joy.
Silvio, a naturalized American and native from Argentina has deep soccer roots. His passion is coaching, not just soccer fundamentals and tactics, but rather the importance of teamwork and sportsmanship to all our athletes. Silvio structures all his practice sessions and games so that every athlete benefits from the experience of fair team competition. He takes every opportunity to impart the importance of good sports conduct to his team at every huddle.
He has over 35 years of playing experience spanning two countries. He has successfully run and coordinated adult volleyball and soccer intramural leagues.
He also enjoys running and cycling. Together with his wife Denise, they have three children. He can also be found in a Scout leader uniform, leading his two son's Cub Scout Dens.
The love affair began 24 years ago and it keeps getting stronger.
Nick Masuda is what you would call a "sports nut." With Class Athlete, Nick will be heavily involved with flag football in a coordinator role, while also coaching his 4-year-old son, Patrick, in soccer.
A native of California, Nick grew up playing baseball and continues to play to this day (although, much of that is the softball variety in his old age). His grandparents instilled a "if you do the things you don't like first, you have more time to do the things you do like" attitude from an early age, and that plays out with eveything Nick does. Fun is the name of his game, but not at the expense of someone else.
